The activities in this resource has been developed using the following
organisation also used in the development of the science modules for the
Science Years 1 to 10 Syllabus.
- Introductors (engage/explore)
Elicit student current understanding, evoke interest, alert students
to what they can expect in the coming learning experiences.
- Developmental (explore/explain/elaborate)
Facilitate the development of the student understanding and cognitive
skills.
- Culminating (evaluate)
Help students reflect over the learning that has occurred and evaluate
the effectiveness of the tasks and techniques for particular students.
